Most Terrific Child Center accepts potty-trained children, ages 3 through 5.  The children are combined in the classrooms as a “family grouping.”   Children benefit from this grouping method, as younger children learn from the older children, and the older children learn to nurture the younger ones.  This experience is especially valuable for only children and it is natural for children who are used to multi-age siblings.

Children may be enrolled full-time (7:00 am to 7:00pm) or part-time: morning half-days (8:00-3:00), or mid-day half days (3:00-7:00), two, three, or five days per week.  We do not accept children on a drop-in hourly basis in the child development program. According to State Licensing Regulations, children who attend 5 hours or more a day are required to have a nap or rest period.  Children may not be picked up during naptime as this disturbs the other children who are trying to rest.  Parents are welcomed to wait in the lobby area if they arrive before the 3:00 wake up time.  If a family has an emergency and needs to pick up their child during the nap time, we can accommodate the family.

We enroll a maximum number of children according to the room size and staffing ratio.   After we have reached our maximum, children will be placed on a waiting list until a vacancy becomes available.
