Manual Therapy
Manual Therapy Center staffs are uniquely skilled in hands on techniques. Practitioners use gentle advanced palpation techniques as they "listen" with their hands to assess muscles, bones, and joints. Our practitioners treat the human body as one unit while using Manual Therapy techniques for an immediate fix, in a process of tracking the roots of a patient’s problems.
Manual Therapy is a clinical approach that utilizes specific hands-on techniques to treat the client. These techniques may include: Strain Counters Train, Myofascial Release, Muscle Energy Technique, Mobilization, and Cranio-Sacral Therapy.
Cranio-Sacral Therapy is a gentle, noninvasive approach that helps to restore the normal respiratory mechanism of the whole body. Uniquely, the therapist examination is done by testing for movement in various body parts in relation to each other and following the normal axis of motion. Both evaluation and correction of the cranio-sacral system can be accomplished through palpation.
The Cranio-Sacral approach helps by improving contractile and non-contractile tissue repair, extensibility, and/or stability; facilitating movement; and improving function. Also, it promotes healing, reduces or eliminates soft tissue inflammation and induces relaxation. Cranio-Sacral Therapy enhances overall health and integrates all body functions and systems.
Cranio-Sacral Therapy may help to unlock many common health problems: such as neck and back pain and it also may ease and treat chronic fatigue, TMJ Dysfunction, developmental delays, motor-coordination deficits, headaches, and many other conditions and symptoms.
Manual Therapy is designed and implemented to give a therapeutic effect that restores normal body function and integrity.
